At the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Arts, he began to professionally engage in ceramics. Later he moved to Leningrad, where he studied mastery at the Higher School. Mukhina. In 1985 he graduated from the Higher School of Art and Industrial Art and until 1992 he worked in the Art Fund.

He began to study porcelain at the school, and to this day it is the main material for creativity.

Since 1980, a regular participant in the exhibitions of the Union of Artists. Member of group exhibitions of ceramics and book graphics in Russia and abroad. Since 1992, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.

From 1995 to the present day he has been working at the Lomonosov (Imperial) porcelain factory. Since 2001, a lecturer at the Department of Ceramics and Glass at St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Stieglitz.
